7760 cotton picker. These older tier 3 7760 pickers tend to lack power in the paddock and more so while bailing, dropping engine and fan speed revs and slowing down ground speed. Once tuned this particular machine would barely drop its revs while bailing and went up from 3.8mph to 4.4mph in ground speed in a heavy crop all day. We didn't get exact fuel savings but the customer is seeing a 10ltr per hour fuel saving while bailing. We were also able to shutdown the EGR system on this one without any reoccurring fault codes, dropping engine and exhaust gas temperatures.
