We are completely proud of the fact we have been able to serve the community for the last 11 months. This has taken many hands, we would like to thank all of the volunteers, staff, supporters, local businesses, the RSL Sub Branch and of course the State Government, Adam Marshall MP for making it all possible to achieve. It is with great excitement that as of Monday 9th August, Zahoor Ahmed will be taking over the Community Store and be running the business as private enterprise. Zahoor has the community’s best interest at heart and we hope he is welcomed into the Mungindi community. Due to the changeover happening this week, the committee has decided that we will be closing the store this Sunday, 8th August to ensure a smooth opening for Zahoor on Monday morning. Thank you for choosing to shop locally and support what has been an extraordinary community achievement.
